Visa Consultation

Sri Lanka ETA guidance for visitors and visa consultation for your next destination — done right the first time.

Who it’s for: Visitors coming to Sri Lanka and Sri Lankans travelling overseas

Coming to Sri Lanka? Every foreign visitor needs an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before arrival. From 25 May 2026, the tourist ETA is free for nationals of 40 countries — but it is still mandatory, and unofficial websites still charge for it. We point you to the official portal and help if anything is unclear. Read our full Sri Lanka ETA guide.

Travelling from Sri Lanka? Visa rules differ by country and change often. We help you understand the requirements, prepare documents and avoid the mistakes that cause delays.

Frequently asked questions

Do I still need an ETA if it is free for my country?

Yes. Under the scheme that started on 25 May 2026, nationals of 40 countries get a free tourist ETA, but every foreign visitor still needs an approved ETA before arrival. Apply only at the official portal, eta.gov.lk.

Can you help Sri Lankans with visas for other countries?

Yes. Tell us the destination and purpose of travel and we will explain the requirements and help prepare the application.
